306 students from Somaliland who received scholarships pertaining to pursue tertiary education have arrived in Addis Ababa where officials from Somaliland’s diplomatic office in Ethiopia received them.
200 of them are about to pursue their first degree at the university, 100 will continue their Master’s degrees while 6 will study their Doctor of Philosophy degrees. The students arrived in Ethiopia last Monday and Tuesday.
The Somaliland officials at the diplomatic mission in Addis Ababa held orientation program for the students at Saphire Addis Hotel. Ministers, Somaliland representatives in Ethiopia and the students were in attendance.
The students have arrived safely in Addis Ababa and will be sent to their destinations which means the universities that they got the scholarships.
