The two-day forum was attended by officials from the Federal Government of Somalia, Federal Member States, international delegates, development partners, representatives from different organizations and the media.
Somalia’s Deputy prime minister Mahdi M. Gulaid opened the Somali Partnership Forum in the Somali capital Mogadishu which attended over 200 companies from 50 different countries.
“Pleased to welcome participants to the 4th Somalia Partnership Forum. Today’s forum will allow both the Federal Government of Somalia and our International Partners to highlight the signs of progress and acknowledge the achievements of Somalia has made to date” deputy PM said

The Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General (SRSG) for Somalia, James Swan said Somalia Partnership Forum is an opportunity for Somalia and its international partners to take stock of progress achieved and challenges faced
“I hope that we will conclude this Forum tomorrow with a clear, shared vision of our overall strategy, of the ‘must not fail’ priorities, and of how best to expedite their effective implementation…” UN envoy James Swan at Somalia Partnership Forum today.
