Dr. Workneh Leaves for Djibouti for a Meeting of IGAD Council of Ministers
Ethiopian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu has left for Djibouti today (February 26) to attend the 46th Ordinary Session of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Council of Ministers.
In the two-day Session (February 27-28), the foreign ministers of the IGAD Member States will deliberate on reforming the organizational structure of IGAD as well as redefining its stature.
Currently, Foreign Minister Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu is the Chair of the IGAD Council of Ministers.
The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) and Germany have signed a 34 million Euros grant agreement during the 46th Ordinary Session of IGAD Council of Ministers being held in Djibouti today (February 27).
