Horndiplomat-Somaliland Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Yasin Hagi mohamud has Recieved in his office Amb Shemsudin Ahmed, the newly appointed Consul General of the Consulate General of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, who paid courtesy visit to the Minister this morning.
In their meeting, a wide range of issues were discussed including; strengthening cooperation and enhancing bilateral ties to serve the mutual interest of both nations.
Last month, Ethiopia has appointed Ambassador Shamsudin Ahmed Roble as the new Consul General to Somaliland several weeks after Ethiopia recalled its consul in Somaliland as a part of restructuring Ethiopia foreign ministry.
The new envoy replaces the former ambassador Mr.Berehe Tesfaye who had been the resident diplomat in Hargeisa for more than a decade.
