Ethiopia:Jimma Industrial Park inagurates

The first phase covers 75ha of the total 150 hectar land.

Ethiopia joined by Eastern and Western neighbours as it inaugurates Jimma Industrial Park this afternoon.

The construction included nine factory shades taken shape with built up area of 35 000 sq.m; five shades with 3000 sq.m and four shades with 5500 sq.m

It has also been fitted with water treatment and waste treatment facilities.

The park worth 61 million USD, it was noted.

One stop service has taken shape on the premise of the park.

It is dedicated to garment, apparel and agro processing that offer jobs to thousands of the historic city and its environs.

Hope is there that domestic and foreign investors would join it soon.
