Horndiplomat-ONLF and Ethiopia agreed to end hostilities towards each other; ONLF to pursue objectives through peaceful means. Horndiplomat Reports
Delegates from Ethiopian federal government and the Ogaden National Liberation Front ONLF met on 21 October 2018 in Asmara, Eritrea. The delegation from the Ethiopian government was led by Workneh Gebeyehu and the ONLF delegation was led by the Admiral Mohamed Omar Osman.
The two sides have reached a historical agreement regarding the political rights of the people from Somali Regional State and genuinely addressing the root causes of the conflict between ONLF and the Ethiopian gov. A joint committee has been established for further discussions.according to ONLF
