Former South Sudan Vice President to be re-instated in his position – presidency

JUBA (Reuters) – South Sudan’s former vice president Riek Machar is to be re-instated in his position as part of a peace deal to end a near five-year-old war that has devastated Africa’s youngest nation, the presidential press unit said in a statement on Sunday.
